Welcome!
I am a multi-passionate artist, mother, off-grid homemaker, educator and community collaborator in the Northern New Mexico high desert.
I love to make art outdoors and to bring the outdoors into my work.
I create mixed media works with layers of water color, pigment pen, pencil, black tea, repurposed teabags and cyanotype. Motherhood, family life, archeology of place, and the more-than-human inspire my work. Universal themes of interdependence and impermanence show up often. Daily experiments fuel my curiosity; seeking awe awakens the senses and helps me stay present.
I’m wrapping up my month-long at home fall residency; what a generative time! I’m so grateful to have been able to set aside this intentional time to make progress.
